Michael Anthony' s Cucina Italiana offers classic Italian cuisine, prepared with a creative touch, presented with a contemporary flair and served in comfortable warm surroundings. Delicious regional dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients and simple yet elegant sauces.
Enjoy homemade gnocchi, succulent veal dishes and the creative fresh fish preparations offered nightly. Tempting desserts are made in-house and include the island favorite "chocolate souffle cake". The versatile wine list offers a broad selection by sampler flights, glass and bottle, designed to satisfy the novice or seasoned enthusiast.
The cozy wine bar provides just the right atmosphere to enjoy a cocktail, a special bottle of wine or one of our signature appetizers or desserts. You can enjoy dinner at the bar where the full menu is offered and a reservation is not required.

Truly a family affair in the tradition of old world Italian eateries, island residents Becky and Tony Fazzini, along with family members Jill Boyd and Michael Cirafesi, opened Michael Anthony's Cucina Italiana in January 2002.
The family, originally from the Philadelphia area, longed for the quaint authentic Italian eateries found in the Italian neighborhoods around the Philadelphia area which were modeled after the trattorias of the small towns of Italy. It was a desire to offer this fine cuisine, paired with some of the best wines in the world, in a more contemporary metropolitan environment that launched what is now recognized as one of the finest restaurants in the region.
Along with their professional and attentive staff, Michael Anthony's will provide a culinary experience you will long remember!

A graduate of the Philadelphia Culinary School, Michael Cirafesi began his career working in kitchens of the fine dining establishments of Philadelphia . He later became Sous Chef at the famed Monte Carlo Living Room in Philadelphia. In 2002 Michael moved to Hilton Head to join family and fulfill the dream of operating his own restaurant.
An accomplished Chef, he has been honored by the Center of Technical Studies in Montgomery County, PA as a distinguished Alumni and is a member of both the Chaine des Rotisseurs and the Institute of Wine and Food. He has been the recipient of numerous culinary awards and has been recognized by both the local and national media for his culinary skills and creativity.
